Malcontents

Malcontents were a group of colonists who payed their way to Georgia. Since they could pay for themselves, they got 500 acres of land. 50 acres was given to the people who couldn’t pay there way to the colony. These Malcontents wanted slavery and alcohol ban to be lifted. They kept bothering James Oglethorpe for 10 years straight about lifting the bans of slavery, alcohol and land ownership. When James Oglethorpe finally left the colony, the Trustees handed the colony back to King George 2. When the trustees did this King George the two were very mad because they gave him the colony a year before the charter expired.

Atlanta United

Atlanta United the star soccer team of Atlanta Georgia. They began not over 3 years ago and quickly rose to the top. They won the MLS(Major League Soccer) and a lot of their season’s finals. Their last game was against Toronto and they at first were winning then soon lost against them. The team was kicked out of the MLS. The fans were devastated and left the stadium depressed. Like last year they went to the finals of the MLS Cup and won against Portland.

As they quickly rose to the top, they had their moments and did lose some games. They have a new member and coach. The fans have a dislike for the new coach since the last coach was better and had a nicer set up then the coach now. Atlanta United has inspired a lot of the youth today who are a fan and/or play soccer to grow up and play more. As time goes on we hope to have a female team and will gladly be supported as much as the male team is.

How Has Hunting Changed Throughout Time?

Image result for hunting

Hunting has been a famous sport ever since the beginning of man time, but it has changed a lot, trust me I mean a lot. People have used different weapons to hunt, to kill. Some examples of the early weapons used include spears, knifes, atlatls, and a bow and arrow made of wood and stone. All of these weapons in the beginning of hunting were made of stone. Later on the prey was starting to get smarter, and the range of these weapons was not good enough to kill the animals. And that’s where the gun comes in.

In the year of 1364 a gun was made, it was used with gun powder candle wax, and a small ball like piece of led. This weapon was originally used for war reasons,  it wasn’t till later that we realized that this “gun” was the missing piece to hunting. People then started making different models, and types of guns. People stopped hunting, and shooting everything, and started targeting certain species of animals, we then realized that different types of guns could be used for different species. For example the shotgun using lots of small balls of steel instead of using led. This weapon was to be used for ducks, and other species of birds and small game. The big guns, or the rifles were used for big game such as deer, and other large mammals.

Now about 655 years later since the first gun was made people all over the world are coming up with calls to mimic the sounds of he real animal! This changed the whole world of hunting, and now lots of different people all around the world hunt, even me! so get out in nature and try something new, hunting!

Soccer: An Underrated Sport

Soccer is an old sport. It originated in England, over 2000 years ago. But most people don’t appreciate it. This is because most soccer events aren’t hyped up on T.V. like football, or basketball or baseball. But in my opinion, I think it is a great sport. Here’s why: soccer isn’t that hard of a concept to grasp.  Unlike basketball or football, soccer is simple. You have two even teams, which you try and score in the other teams net. The goalie is allowed to touch the ball, but all the other players can not. Simple right? It does get more complicated, the higher leagues you go, but its still not as bad as basketball or, especially, football. Anyone could play it, if their fast enough. So, if you are looking for a game to play, and are over baseblall, basketball, and even football, gice soccer a try. You might enjoy it.

Hunting is not Murder

Hunting is fun, but it takes a lot of patience. It also requires a lot of waiting. Yyou may not see what you are hunting for, so it might take you a couple of hunting trips. This is fun though it might not sound like it. However, all the things you see and hear will amaze you and it is also very relaxing but you cant fall asleep. Hunting is not murder either if we never hunted our ancestors could never survive and we would not be here because our ancestors would not be able to reproduce and get to us. So in order for us to survive we had to hunt and live. So see your not just viciously killing everything you see; you actually use everything you get from your kill. So you are not just killing its surviving.

The Flash is an American television series broadcasted by the CW. 96% of google users like the show. At 11, Barry Allen’s life changed completely when his mother died in a freak accident and his innocent father was convicted of her murder. Orphaned Barry later becomes Detective Joe West. Now a crime-scene investigator, his dedication to learn the truth about his mother’s death drives him to follow up on every new scientific advancement and urban legend. When his latest obsession – a particle accelerator heralded as a world-changing invention – causes an explosion, it creates a freak storm and Barry is struck by lightning. He awakes from a coma nine months later with the power of superspeed. When he learns that others who have gained powers use them for evil, he dedicates himself to protecting the innocent, while still trying to solve the older mystery. The Flash is based on the DC comics by Gardner Fox and Harry Lampert, the original creators of the Flash. The Flash to me is a very good show that has a lot of suspense and action. The graphics are amazing, and there are crossover events from the other DC shows from the CW such as Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and The Arrow.
